HIGH QUALITY ORGANIC CHOCOLATE MADE IN BALI WITH LOCALLY SOURCED COCOA BEANS
PRIMO Chocolate Bali is a small producer of high quality, single origin chocolate based in Bali, Indonesia. Established in 2008, PRIMO prides itself in its ability to oversee every aspect of production from the sourcing of the cocoa beans to the final product, ensuring the highest quality is received by our clients.
We work closely with farmers and develop relationships where trust is a key factor. In return for providing us with the best quality cocoa beans, fermented using our preferred methods, we pay the farmers a substantial premium for their beans.
The cocoa beans we sourced are treated very delicately and with utmost care. Roasting at very low temperatures and grinding at low speeds over long periods of time (80+ hours). This ensures that we can extract the maximum amount of flavour and aroma from the cocoa beans, giving our clients a truly unique chocolate experience
CHOCOLATE MAKING CLASS
1-2 Hours of hands on Bean-to-Bar learning. From the sorting of there cacao beans to the tempering of the chocolate you will eventually get to take home, everything is a visceral experience aimed to teach the proper ways of high quality, local Bean-to-Bar chocolate making. Bean-to-Bar Classes are available at 10 am or 2 pm.
COCOA PLANTATION TOUR
4-5 Hours of beautiful scenic adventures in areas lost to the Bali mainstream. Getting to know the farmers there work closely with and learning proper harvesting and fermentation techniques of there cacao is just one part of this experience, not to mention the “Jurassic Park-esque” nature of the surrounding scenery. The tour starts at 9am sharp.
